Let her swim, climb mountain peaks, pilot an airplane, battle against the elements, take risks, go out for adventure, (share it with kindred spirits), and she will not feel before the world that timidity.

We have left the city!!!

Fantastic job this week!

We recorded 9500m swam, 51.31km biked, and 52km ran in the first week!  I like this collective mileage idea.  Have a fantastic weekend!  Perhaps some snow shoeing in Edmonton?  No skiiing for us yet in Vernon.  Remember you can log XC ski mileage for the run/ski category in the Challenge!

Tri & Stay Fit Together!

It's cold and dark and the perfect time to start thinking about triathlons! Sue and I have spent lots of time talking, getting excited, motivating each other and supporting each other over the past year. When Sue moved to Vernon we wanted to stay connected so we talked a lot about committing to triathlon training together by have similar workout goals and commitments, planning workouts for the same time and basically train together but in different cities. We want you guys to join us! This is our blog to start our community of triathletes in any shape or form! We were lucky to train for our last triathlon with our good friend Heather. It's amazing infectious energy and excitement is in numbers! Together we can set goals, support each other, become accountable without pressure, share tips, share good and bad experiences and hang out together online. I'm looking forward to an exciting year. There's nothing that brings people closer together than shared goals and shared fun!

Still rolling along with you!

First tri together!
