It's amazing how when we become focussed and inspired by something, the rest of the world can sometimes drop away. On the up side of this, we can achieve goals and accomplish things. On the down side sometimes our lives lack balance and perspective. Check out this section of the blog for yoga, recipes and other tidbits that might help you keep your balance.
November 13:
Hard working muscles need adequate calcium, magnesium and potassium to work well and recover.
Ca: dairy, quinoia, sesame seeds or tahini, green veggies and even dried herbs pack a punch!
Mg: supplement, Epson salts in the bath (make sure to use a cup or 2!), rice/wheat/oat bran, pumpkin seeds/butter and dark chocolate!
K: These foods all have higher sources of potassium than bananas! White beans, spinach, baked potato with skin, dried apricots, avocado
You can carve your pumpkin and eat it too!
